Oxford Treehouse Gallery (formerly Neill Studios), began with a move to beautiful Lafayette County. Walter and Vivian Neill started with a blacksmith shop in 2002. Walter built a painting studio/gallery nestled in the trees (some actually supporting the porches) in 2005, and the chicken palace in 2008 completed the evolution. The gallery doubled as their home and studio until construction was finished on their house on the same property in 2013. “We opened Oxford Treehouse Gallery to share this space with other artists and to provide the public with a fine art experience in an unconventional gallery setting,” Vivian says. “We strive to fill the studio with art that we love and appreciate, that is both functional within the home and adds to the simple beauty of everyday life.” Oxford Treehouse Gallery is located at 328 County Road 418 (on Fudgetown Road close to the intersection of Highway 334) and is open Thursday through Saturday, 12 to 6 p.m. and by appointment. Call (662) 236-1667 for more information.
