Oxford Music Fest 2013 hits Plein Air on St. Paddy’s Day

Originally scheduled in the Grove, fest moves to Taylor venue—outdoors and free for the first time
The Oxford Music Festival in the past has been presented at a variety of venues, from theaters to bars to partnering with the Oxford Film Festival. This year, the fifth annual fest takes a country drive to the appropriately green, pastoral setting of Plein Air from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013, St. Patrick’s Day. And it’s free of charge.
The event was previously announced to be slated for the Grove on the same date, but logistics required a change of venue.
Artists scheduled include Shannon McNally, Moon Pie Curtis (who is also master of ceremonies), Tyler Keith & the Apostles, Deux Filles de Sangin, Damien Wash, the Legit Jazz Sextet, the Red Thangs, Adrian Dickey, the Eric Deaton Trio, and DJ Gordo, as well as a performance by Hinge Dance Company.
Sponsorships are still available. For more information, click here .
